Background and Goals

Here is a little background on me. I'm married to a wonderful wife name Monica and we have 4 kids together. We live in Higgins, Texas which is a very small town on the Oklahoma border. There are many places to fish near me in both Texas and Oklahoma. I've been fishing since I was a kid. I was never really any good then. I can catch a catfish, sometimes. Bass is a lot more difficult in that I don't have a lot of knowledge on how to catch them. My main focus for the next 6 months or so is to master using creature baits for bass. I'm not saying that I won't using other baits, I just want that to be my main focus. I will also be doing some fishing for catfish. What places will we be fishing? Lake Fryer, Crystal Beach Lake, Lake Loyd Vincent, and Pampa City Lake are the places that I will be focusing on. Lake Vincent probably being the toughest of them all. Catfish are good at Crystal Beach Lake in Woodward, Oklahoma. Lake Fryer in Perryton, Texas is very nice for camping although I haven't caught any fish there, and I have only fished it once to begin with. Pampa City Lake is a nice community fishing spot and I have pulled a carp out of there on my only fishing trip there. I'm also considering a few trips to Medical Center South in Amarillo, Texas as well. I want to use this blog to document all the knowledge that I learn. You're probably wondering why don't I just do a youtube channel. Well, I'm not very good at being on a camera. I can mix my words up really easily. That doesn't mean that I won't shoot some video and post it. Any and all comments are appreciated. The only way that I get better at this is if you, the readers, provide feedback.
