Below is a picture of one of the reels that I will be using. It is a Shakespeare Durango. I plan on replacing the line with 50lb test braid. I will pair it with a medium or medium heavy rod. I picked this reel up at walmart.com on rollback for next to nothing. A few days later, the price went back up. I like that it has a rear drag system. How is it better? I don't have a clue. But we will find out. I'll let you know how well this reel works.
